Mandarin:

The Mandarin tree [citrus reticulate], a small evergreen tree of the citrus family originating from the Philippines, was first cultivated in the Mediterranean around the mid 19th century. Since then, and due to its tasty and aromatic fruit, its cultivation kept expanding and several varieties have developed. The essential oil extracted from the fruit’s peel, is used in perfumery while thanks to its toning, anti- inflammatory and moisturising action is further used in natural cosmetics.



Shea Butter:

Shea butter has been traditionally used in Africa by native soap manufacturers to protect skin and hair from the harsh climate. It had also been a well known baby pampering treat, intended to protect newborns from extreme weather. Recent findings claim that Shea butter protects the skin against climate and UV aggression; helps preventing wrinkle formation; soothes irritated and chapped skin and moisturises the epidermis.
